Allah says:"Those who spend their property in the way of Allah, then do not follow up what they have spent with reproach or injury, they shall have their reward from their Lord, and they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve." [Al-Qur'aan 2:262]

Also, Allah says: "Who is the one who would give Allah a good loan so that Allah multiplies it for him many times? Allah withholds and extends, and to Him you are to be returned." [Al-Qur'aan 2:245]

"Race with one another towards forgiveness from your Lord and towards a paradise the width of which spans the heavens and the earth. It has been prepared for the God-fearing, the ones who spend (for Allah's sake) in prosperity and adversity... and Allah loves those who do good." [Al-Qur'aan 3:133-134]

The Prophet is reported to have said:
"Verily the most beloved actions to Allah are those which are continuous, even though they may be little." [Muslim]

The Prophet has said: "Be quick in giving Sadaqah, as a calamity cannot overtake Sadaqah." [Mishkaat]

He also said: "Whoever builds a mosque (intending Allah's pleasure), Allah will build a similar place for him in Paradise." [Bukhari]

Remember only three things will benefit us after our death:

Abu Qataadah reported that Prophet Muhammad said: "The best that a man can leave behind after his death are three things: a righteous child who makes dua for him, an ongoing sadaqah whose rewards continue to reach him, and a knowledge that continues to be implemented after him." [Ibn Maajah]
